On Vision

We believe in facts, logic, pragmatism and a lot of common sense.

Our approach revolves around 3 key depths of focus

The destination

Have a vision, have a dream, at least have good idea of the destination you’re heading for - but base it on evidence and facts from the market, your customers and your potential customers, not opinions in the office.

Aim to solve problems that are real for people, that they urgently want solving and to the extent that they are willing to pay.

Be able to describe it vividly, with passion and excitement.

The Direction

Understand where you are today relative to the destination you are heading for - the gap sets your direction.

Be mindful of the significant steps (or steps up) you’ll need to take along the way,
don’t ignore them but equally don’t try to solve everything at once when you just don’t need to.

The Next Steps

Today, and every day, you must take some steps and keep moving forwards.

Evidence and degrees of certainty help you make simple pragmatic decisions. If you are very sure then maybe take some big steps, add a whole feature set or get more servers - but if you’re less sure then take small quick steps, perhaps add simple features, test and get feedback or just boost the RAM in the server.

Progress your business model, product marketing and product development in co-ordinated steps with each other.

…and everything moves a whole lot faster
